As a new member/old user to join the site I thought I would start by letting you know about a nice find. While researching a Tequila tasting I hosted at a culinary school in Ojai California I found a very nice Anejo. Tres Manos comes in 1 liter and 1.75 liter sizes. There were only 3000 made this time around. I found it at the Beverage wharehouse in Culver City near Hwy 405 and 90.

The Tres Manos is a nice 3 year Extra Anejo that has aged 3 years in charred French Oak, charred American Oak and used Oak Bourbon Barrels. It has a great nose with slight almond and vanilla notes, a smooth finish tops it off. The Oak is not too strong as to cover the agave fruit. I bought the 1 liter for the tasting and the group almost went through it so I went back and bought the 1.75 liter, still sealed.
See the Tasting message for the next tasting I will do in Ojai California, it is in Jan 08.
