The fancy bottles are nice and defiantly eye catching but if i buy a bottle on looks that I haven't tried yet and the juice doesn't hold up to the package then I'll never buy it again. If I was given a choice over plain bottle with excellent juice then thats the route I would go everytime.
Black bottle would be nice for preserving the liquid but i like to see whats in side for a few reasons, one to see how dark or light the anejo/reposado is, and two to know how much I have left to drink before I buy another bottle.

You are absolutely right about the bottle and the tequila. The nice looking presentation might sell the first bottle, but if the tequila is no good, it will never sell the second.
We have two new tequilas that will be coming to market this summer and they are absolutely delicious. We visited several distilleries and really hit the home run for taste and quality. Stay in touch, I'd love to put our new tequilas up against anything out there that you prefer - Including the likes of Tonala, Siete Leguas, and Selecion Suprema.

Sorry about that - didn't mean to tease. First off, I would love for you to put us in touch with your contacts at the shows. You're scoring some good points with a guy who will shortly have a large and very good supply of tequila. You are a smart individual!
Let me answer your other question. Our two new tequilas will be available in Blanco, Reposado, and Anejo - with a good 5-year Extra-Anejo in the pipeline for future roll-out. We have conducted several blind taste tests - both here and in Mexico, and our tequila usually wins (or places very high) against the likes of Siete Leguas and Selection Suprema. We are very confident, that even though taste is very subjective, as tequila drinkers go, our tequila will compete with any in the world. Our distillery is 5th generation agave growers now, and on our last meeting in Mexico we met with Leopoldo Solis and Javier Espindola - both of whom confirmed that this tequila is truly world class. Those two gentlemen by the way, are 2 of the 3 foremost experts on tequila in the country of Mexico. Not a bad start.
The two tequilas have now been trademarked and are being registered with IMPI and the CRT in Mexico. They are known as Calor and Seis Hermanas. Seis Hermanas is the true story of six sisters from Jalisco and their desire to share Mexico with the world through a great tequila. It helps of course that they are all good looking.
Calor - world class all the way, and will be signed by the distillery's 86 year old patriach.
There's a little update - we're excited as it's been a long road to this point.
Stay in touch. You can be the first to try it and rate it for the folks here. That way we have a good impartial view.
