Reposados are where I started my whole tequila adventure. They can be smoother than the blancos and have a more distinct tasting profile than the Añejos.
As I drink more, I go between blancos, repos, and añejos as favorites-think it depends on my mood.
Just another reason why tequila is the king of spirits!!!I went from grunge Tequila (Cuervo & Sauza)... and then stumbled upon 'good tequila' when I was in Mexico. I quickly jumped all the way to Anejos, then slid "back" to Repos. The more I learned about Tequila, the more I got interested in analyzing the flavours, that turned me onto finding some 'fine' blancos to get a good sense of the Agave Flavour.
So far my fave is Casa Noble Cristal for sipping, and 4 Copas blanco for drinks.
Once I got a sense of that I started to better appreciate then Repos and Anejos.
Tequila tasting can be quite the adventure!
